Most recently, the emerging field of Telematics has presented many new opportunities and challenges in the area of antenna design. Vehicular antennas must now be designed and constructed to deliver superior performance across many frequency bands, different RF services, and operating conditions. Such Telematics applications include: - Navigation / Position Location - Digital Radio - Collision Avoidance Radars In two rather interesting examples of our ongoing effort to lead the RF/Antenna design science into new frontiers, we have built specialized RF measurement and collection systems for Qualcomm and have performed joint development work with Agilent Technologies.
