| ActiveX Controls | In
support of the emerging Software Radio initiative Tropper Technologies has developed and
is shipping a "CDMA ActiveX Control". This one-of-a kind ActiveX Control
exposes, via numerous properties and methods, the entire IS-95 and J-STD008 air interface
message specification to the container wrapper. This drop-in flexibility
greatly facilitates development and testing of the Software Radio. In addition, work is under way to encapsulate the GSM and IS-136 common air interfaces into ActiveX Controls as well. Abstracting the bit level decodes using these ActiveX Controls (which may be engaged or disengaged at will by the host software) delivers an efficient, robust solution for testing the various technologies that could be supported via Software Radio devices. |
