Download Mercury Version 1.21E Upgrade

Install the Mercury 1.21E Upgrade as follows:

- Delete the prior Mercury exe.

- Copy this new exe to the same directory.

Configuration

- Security should be set to "Low" (Security settings accessed from Tools | Internet Options... | Security)

- If prompted with IE Dialog asking "Do you want to install and run" simply click "OK" (IE related security issue)

- If prompted with IE Dialog asking "Open this file from its current location" or "Save to disk" simply select "Open this file from its current location" and click "OK" (IE related security issue)

Download Optional Map Data For Mercury and Apollo

The Mercury and Apollo Post-Processors will run fine without any map data installed on your computer. However, in order to give their drive tests some geographic context most users prefer to use at least some map data.

The map data provided on this page is "Street Data", which includes detailed street level data corresponding to the sample files which are automatically downloaded with the Mercury and Apollo demos.

Street Data

Install the Street Data as follows:

1) Download the "CountiesSample.zip" file

2) Create the following directory on your hard-drive: "C:\Program Files\Tropper\Mercury\Maps"

3) Unzip the "CountiesSample.zip" file into the above directory

Download System Inspector Version 2.0 Demo Installation Package

The full System Inspector Installation Package is comprised of 8 files.
Install System Inspector as follows:

- Create a System Inspector Download Directory on your hard drive.

-Create eight (8) sub-directories in the System Inspector Download Directory called "Disk1", "Disk2" ... "Disk8".

- Download each Zip file into its corresponding sub-directory and unzip it in that sub-directory.

- Run setup.exe in the "Disk1" sub-directory and follow the on-screen prompts.

Download the "Sample.ins" database file in order to try out System Inspector's data analysis and visualization features.

Download the System Inspector "Quick Start Guide" if desired (Word 97 format).
