Program Management
Tropper Technologies provides expert program management to a
variety of Forums and Associations within
the Wireless Industry. Most recently, Tropper Technologies has been helping to guide the
Software Defined
Radio Forum through several key areas of growth.
Antenna Design
Tropper Technologies has completed many antenna analysis and
design projects for several different companies across a wide range of application
domains. We employ state-of-the-art modeling and simulation tools and have access to
cutting edge test chambers via our strategic partnership programs. Most recently, Tropper
Technologies completed a consulting contract to design and optimize several antenna
structures for a major manufacturer of mobile and base station antennas. These antennas
included microstrip designs, helix designs, yagi designs and dipole arrays. We have proven
expertise in the design of broadband matching circuitry and have worked across a very
large spectrum of customer target requirements.
Motorola (Infrastructure Manufacturer)
As an infrastructure manufacturer, Motorola licensed Tropper Technologies software to,
among other things, study the interoperability between the mobile and base. On the base
side, our Protocol Navigator ® module can be used to test various software loads to
standards conformance.
US West Wireless/QWEST (U.S. Service
Provider)
As an operator, US West Wireless licensed Tropper Technologies software to help deploy
their PCS system throughout their markets and to optimize and fine tune the network as it
grows. On the field collection side, the Tropper Technologies Protocol Navigator ®
module decodes the layer 3 Over-the-Air messaging down to the bit level, provides detailed
timing analysis, and creates high level statistical reports on System behavior. Our Call
Doctor ® module provides US West with powerful Stimulus / Response testing via a
programmable Call Generator. Using Call Doctor, US West tested the system for Paging /
Access performance.
Time Domain Corp. (Technology
Developer)
Time Domain is a developer of a new breed of communication equipment utilizing
Ultrawideband
Technology. In keeping with our tradition of helping to bring "Laboratory"
technology into the marketplace,
we have licensed Time Domain our Minuteman Diagnostic Monitor tool to assist with testing
the complex
interactions between UWB transmissions and PCS Handsets.
PelePhone (International Operator based
in Israel)
In association with Incode, Tropper Technologies optimized several large cities for
PelePhone in Israel. Tropper Technologies provided the field collection and analytic
software to do the job, as well as technical expertise to analyze and summarize the data,
train the customer, and provide on-site guidance from a technical perspective.
Denso Wireless (Handset Manufacturer)
Denso has licensed the newest release of our Apollo analytic software as the tool to
assist with Handset
Interoperability Testing as well as reduction of Drive Test data from all around the US.
Qualcomm (Handset Manufacturer)
As a handset manufacturer, Qualcomm licensed Tropper Technologies software to perform RF
parametric studies of phone specific algorithms. Searcher performance, Finger Assignment
Function, and timing analysis, to name but a few, can all be accomplished.
Training
Tropper Technologies has been delivering Wireless training courses for the last 8 years
throughout the country. We have hosted training sessions in Denver, Phoenix, Minneapolis,
Seattle, New York, San Diego, and at our Headquarters in Chicago. Tropper Technologies has
pioneered the delivery of Web-Enabled Analytic tools and is now partnering with other,
dedicated training firms, to bring these and other materials to a much larger audience.More...
